Why Choose Laminate?
Laminate is an affordable flooring alternative which will give the look and feel of a timber floor without the price tag or maintenance. It is not subject to problems that natural timbers have, such as checking, cupping, contraction and expansion.
A laminate floor is made of HDF – High Density Fibreboard – which then has an image of a timber species adhered on top to give it a natural timber look.
The protective laminate is then placed over the picture. The look of the floor is more uniform and consistent than a solid or engineered floor as it won’t show natural variations that are typically found in timber.
A laminate floor is extremely tough and durable making it an ideal flooring choice for families.
